One problem people in developing countries face – besides the obvious lack of clean water, proper nutrition and protection from the elements – is a dearth of vision care. Even though organizations around the world have been collecting and donating used glasses for decades, many people still either went without glasses or wore glasses with prescriptions that were only close to what they required. But over the past several years, organizations have begun distributing a new invention – adjustable eyeglasses – to those in need. These adjustable eyeglasses are simple, yet quite remarkable.
