Industrial Symbiosis (IS) is a burgeoning type of ‘resource exchange’ whereby one industry creates a product or performs a service while utilizing the waste of another industry – ultimately benefiting both industries and the environment. Raymond Paquin , a researcher at Concordia University has just published a paper (Creating Economic and Environmental Value through Industrial Symbiosis) in the journal Long Range Planning.
